Like others have also stated, I absolutely adore this game and have fantastic memories of playing this game back in 2016.

A few days ago I booted an old android system and was delighted that it still had Psycard installed, since prior to that I hadn't been able to redownload and play it on newer devices.

Super happy to discover that it can now have a second chance to reach a bigger audience :)

Thank you, it's crazy that people still remember it haha ^^

The presentation of the game, the graphics, are so good for a free game lol.
Im listing some comments but obviously you're not gonna update it and it's fine:

  • -Some UI improvements could be done (such as showing when a button can be clicked). I was a bit confused at first and I didn't understand the color separation / skull separation thing lol. a bit more explanation could be nice (like when a card shines, it's safe; that every character has 2 skills, the top one cost 1 star the other 3 etc).
  • -It kinda drags on too long? The campaign for one character is so long, especially since there's so many other characters we would like to try out. A game to 30 is just sooo long.
  • maybe during the campaign having some extra bonuses you gain as you progress  would have been nice? idk

I was so mad after losing the last fight after grinding like 2 hours on the game lol. I'll try again another time. Love the visuals! The characters are also pretty funny.

Question, are the main cast of characters from a different game?

Thanks! Yeah the game is like 8 years old, but I'll keep the feedback in mind if there's ever a sequel ^^;

The characters are all from this game, but some of them make guest appearances in games by Ludosity (Card City Nights 2 and Slap City).

Every so often when I’m back in the TCG mood I always think about PsyCard and the Card City Nights games. I can’t overstate how much I love the art and music direction and wish more people knew that Minesweeper has a competitive multiplayer spinoff with hero/Planeswalker abilities and a really fun cast of characters. Cozy Cyberpunk is the underserved niche I never knew I wanted so much!

I’ve wished  on multiple occasions that a physical version could be set up but without an impartial field designer or until some high tech hologram synced decks of cards get invented, or actual psychic card-dowsing powers come around I’m just happy you made this vision of the antisocial friend group going outside-future. Also makes me very happy to continue seeing these characters make cameos in Ludosity stuff; even as an alt costume I was really happy to see Bees reppin’ the crew in Slap City. I would really enjoy a comic series set in the same world.

Anyways, hope things are well, and thank you again for working on these fantastic games. :)

Thank you very much! I've also thought about how to do it physically but it just seems impossible heh ^^;

PsyCard is a completely underrated game! I love the gameplay, the atmosphere, the art style and the music. This constant thrill is both a blessing and a curse. Thank you for making the game available here for Windows :)

Thank you :3

I keep this page as one of my home pages so I remember to replay it eventually!

Congrats on being the second best rated Cyberpunk Card Game!

Description typo:

mindsweeper > minesweeper [or is that a psychic pun?]

Thank you ^^

And yes it is a pun lol

I LOVE this game and used to play it on my iPhone all the time. Unfortunately it got offloaded recently and I can’t play it since it isn’t in the app store anymore. Do you have plans to add it there again? I’ll be buying it here in the meantime, thank you for such an awesome game!

(+3)

Sorry, there's no plans to put it back there :/

I only got it there by help of the company I work at, and I doubt they'd put resources into reinstating it. On my own I don't have the ability to do iPhone stuff.

Thanks for the reply! Completely understand, I’m sure it’s costly to maintain on the iOS App Store. Super glad I found your Itch and I’m glad I can still get this on my laptop. 😁

YESYESYES finally my favourite game got it's own fancy page! Spent hours on it with my phone back in the days and really hope for updates or sequel even though that's unlikely :(

(+2)

Also, I don't know if you're still doing updates on this game, but it'd be nice to have a flagging feature for when you know which cards are skulls.

(+2)

YES THIS GAME IS BACK

(1 edit) (+2)

Yeah! Now I can go through the story again, easier!

EDIT: Maybe tag this with Minesweeper?
